Standing on the edge of madness
I look back at all the people
I look back at all their outstretched hands
I stand

Reaching out to them I see
They are but illusions
Haunting me

Once upon a dream they were
All in line, smiles and sighs
But oh, these times, these times

Once, we used to play
I'd watch you run and wonder
I'd watch and watch and watch

One day you ran away
